The Biological Oceanography department is separated in four Laboratories:

(i) Plankton Ecology
(ii) Benthic Ecology
(iii) Ecotoxicology
(iv) Operational Ecology,

and they are all equipped with state-of-the-art instruments and have excellent facilities that meet regularly updated scientific protocols.
