Evangelia Strogyloudi is Associate Researcher at the Institute of Oceanography (IO) of the Hellenic Centre for Marine Research since 2017. She is working as a member of the research staff of the IO since 1996. She was graduated from the School of Science of the University of Patras (Greece) where she received her bachelor degree in Biology. From University of Athens (Greece) received her Master of Science in Oceanography and her PhD diploma in Ecotoxicology from the Department of the Environment of the University of the Aegean (Greece). Her research interests include accumulation and biological effects of contaminants in marine organisms, contaminants toxicity in marine biota under climate change conditions, Harmful Algal Blooms toxin transfer within the food web and the associated biological effects, physiology of marine bivalves. She is familiar to various methodologies for the study of marine benthic invertebrates for detecting pollution due to her participation in several related research programmes (18 national and 7 international projects). She is author /co-author in 16 papers in peer reviewed scientific journals, in 29 papers presented at international and national conference proceedings after peer-reviewing and in more than 70 technical reports.
