Sylvia Christodoulaki has a Ph.D in Environmental Chemistry and Marine Ecosystem Modelling (2011) at Environmental Chemical Processes Laboratory -University of Crete (ECPL-UoC). She has an M.Sc in Environmental Engineering from the University of Crete (2007) and a B.Sc in Environmental Management (2004) from the University of Thessaly. She is collaborating with Hellenic Centre for Marine Research since 2003. Her scientific interests focus on marine ecosystem simulations of the impact of atmospheric deposition of nutrients to the ocean primary productivity and on numerical modeling of biogeochemical processes and hydrodynamics. She has been involved as researcher and project manager in several EU and national programs some of which are EMSO-Link, ADAMANT, PERSEUS, SESAME, CITYZEN, CIRCE, EUCAARI, ACTRIS, DARECLIMED.
