Vasileia Fioraki  has received a BSc in Chemistry (2008) , a Msc in Chemical Oceanography (2010) and a Msc in Educational Chemistry (2019) from the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens (NKUA). 

She works in the Laboratory Unit of nutrients at the Institute of Oceanography (HCMR) since 2015. Her responsibilities include the participation in samplings, the measurement of dissolved oxygen, as well as the nutrient analysis in seawater samples using the automated analyzer Quaatro SEAL and the spectrophotometer UV-VIS Shimadzu. She is trained for accreditation procedures, following the ISO/IEC 17025 requirements for the laboratories procedures in the analytical lab.
