Master's degree in Oceanography and Management of the Marine Environment, National and Kapodistrian University of Athens (2014-2017)

Since February 2018, he hold a position of research associate responsible for phytoplankton/algal bloom identification at the Institute of Oceanography of the Hellenic Centre for Marine research, in the frame  of the research programme - Monitoring of the ecological status of rivers, transitional and coastal waters of  Greece (EU Water Framework Directive 2000/60).

From 2012 to 2018 he has participated in 4 national and international projects and his research interests are related to: 
Field sampling (biological / physico-chemical parameters) in lakes, marine and coastal transitional ecosystems 
Study of metabolism of microorganisms, microcosm/mesocosm experiments and culture development
Laboratory analysis of samples using Epi-fluorescence microscopy 
Microscopic observation and identification of phytoplankton groups/species and use of Image-Pro analysis system for the determination of microbial parameters 
Application of biological indicators to assess phytoplankton condition in transitional ecosystems

From 2013 to 2018 he has participated in 4 national and international conferences (conference proceedings, oral presentations and poster presentations).
